After a morning driving through Angeles National Forest, from Tujunga to Acton, I ended back at the house, working, painting, vegetating.

Ended up watching "Bend It Like Beckham" in spanish on channel 52.

Think about it....

A movie about the difficulties of Indians integrating into English culture, translated into Spanish and played on a channel that caters to new Mexican immigrants that haven't integrated into American culture, being watched by a white guy that learned Spanish when he tried and failed to integrate into Central American culture. A movie I first saw in England, when I lived there as an ex-Pat.

Endless, spiraling waves of displacement.
